What is Forest Bathing?
Forest Bathing, or Shinrin Yoku, is a popular Japanese tradition meaning 'to take in the forest atmosphere.' This mysterious art has become really trendy overseas too — there are various Forest Bathing groups around the world!
Next time you're feeling unwell or stressed, try taking a slow and tranquil walk through a forest. This healing tradition is known to reduce stress, improve your mood, enhance your ability to focus, increase energy levels and help your body heal itself quicker! Even just looking at images of forest and nature can improve your mood and help you relax.
